Master of Horse Cormac Falkirk, Purple-Dusk to Opal Warlord-Prince.
Cormac has strong, sensitive hands, a soothing voice, and great patience. He is responsible for the training of the Clan's horses, from war horses to the tough mountain ponies. His brother Donncuan is Stable Master for the Clan head, in charge of gentle riding horses, children's mounts, and plow "horses." In general, the terrain is so rugged that ox or goats are used for pulling wagons or plowing fields. The two have a not so gentle rivalry.
Cormac appreciates the ladies, and is often pursued by the lasses. He has a reassuring manner, and is adored by children. He keeps his thoughts to himself, and is very good at listening. Part of his skill with training horses is his ability to read non-verbal cues.
Cormac is a cousin to Yseult, and a favorite of hers. She can be a little overbearing sometimes, and he can always be counted on to smooth over social awkwardness and be gentle with those who are shy or unsure.
Bonding Triggers:
[*] Cormac can be counted on to gentle a violent or frightened Queen in much the same way he soothes frightened horses.
[*] The Darkness would definitely Bond Cormac to a Queen in a difficult or dangerous political situation. Although he would've hate a life away from horses, his ability to 'take the temperature of the room', and read non-verbal cues without using Craft would make him invaluable in a danger-strewn Court, and navigating traps at other people's Court.
He is the nephew of the Clan Laird.
